Ingredients:
Siberian ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosus) is thought to exhibit anti-fatigue, anti-stress, decreased CNS activity, and anti-depressive effect through the pituitary-adrenocortical system. It is also believed to have immuno-enhancing effects.
Ashwagandha (Withania Somnifera), traditionally used as an adaptogen is a common ayurvedic medicine, known to have a positive role in neurodegenerative diseases. In a study on PTSD, results indicated an improvement in the prevention of PTSD-induced memory impairment. It is thought that Ashwagandha acts by preserving changes in antioxidant mechanisms in a part of the brain, the hippocampus. Other conditions it is used for include insomnia, aging, and anxiety.
Rhodiola (Rhodiola rosea) is considered an adaptogen. Rhodiola has been tested for its benefit in assisting stress, such as exam stress. Perceptive and cognitive cerebral functions were improved in some studies with Rhodiola. This herb can assist with fatigue, anxiety, depression, and improved mental clarity.
Magnesium (bisglycinate): An essential element in our body, involved in biological processes like cell functioning and energy production. There’s some evidence to suggest magnesium can be beneficial for managing anxiety and stress. Magnesium can tackle anxiety by decreasing the neuroendocrine pathways that send cortisol to your brain ultimately leveling out your cortisol.
Vit B 5 (pantothenic acid), when present in adequate amounts, it is able to down-regulate the secretion of cortisol, and the body is able to recover from periods of stress. This essential nutrient plays a role in energy metabolism, manufacturing red blood cells, and manufacturing sex and stress-related hormones in the adrenal glands.
Co-Enzyme Q10 (Ubiquinone) is a powerful antioxidant that protects cells from damage caused by free radicals. CoQ10's role in energy production, antioxidant protection, and potential influence on hormone balance can indirectly support healthy adrenal function by promoting overall cellular health and stress resilience.
