What is menopause:
Menopause is when a woman ceases to menstruate. The exact definition is 12 months after her last menstrual period. Menopause is a natural process of hormonal decline that can result in some of the following symptoms; hot flushes, mood swings, vaginal dryness, difficulty sleeping, anxiety, irritability, depression, heart palpitations, hair loss, dry skin and low libido. Most of these symptoms are as a result of decreased estrogen and progesterone.
